Population of approximately 6 million. Nearly half of the population lives in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire.

The official language is French. Major regional languages include Lingala and Kikongo.

The capital and largest city is Brazzaville, located along the Congo River. Other major cities include Pointe-Noire (a key port city), Dolisie, and Owando.

Rich in music and dance, especially Soukous and Rumba. Cultural expressions include colorful fabrics, traditional drumming, and storytelling traditions passed down through generations.

Similar to DRC but with more coastal influences. Popular dishes: Maboke (steamed fish with spices), Mwamba (peanut stew), and Pili Pili (spicy pepper sauce).

Tropical climate. The country experiences high humidity and heavy rainfall in the north, while the south has a wet and dry season.

Features lowland gorillas, chimpanzees, African forest elephants, leopards, and pangolins. Odzala National Park is a biodiversity hotspot.
