Population of approximately 10.7 million. Prague is home to about 10% of the country's population.

The official language is Czech. Slovak is also understood due to historical ties with Slovakia.

The capital and largest city is Prague. Other major cities include Brno (a student and tech hub), Ostrava, and Plzen (famous for Pilsner beer).
